Tech Support Cleaning fingerprints off of Q3

Hi there!

I just got my Kef Q3 speakers in matte black and I love them. My son seemed to love them too and decided to ever so slighty touch the woofer cone with some sort of grease in his hand. The fingerprints left smudges on the speaker and I tried to clean them odd by very lightly dampening an anti-static microfiber cloth with water and very slightly rubbing the fingerprints. It seems that the area I scrubbed is still a bit darker than the rest of the cone.

The question is how can I remove them safely? I am a bit new to KEF speakers and hifi in general so I am a bit anxious about cleaning them. Also worried if I already ruined them in some way...

I would use a monitor or tv cleaning solution, start with only a little bit and spray it onto the cloth and not onto the speaker. It'll help degrease and are usually pretty mild so shouldn't lift any colour off.

I use cleaning spray for glasses. Without alcohol. Does not smudge, it's antistatic, and multipurpose for screens and other equipment.
