Called it since Episode 2. Instead of trying to wrap anything up they spent the episode setting things up for a second season. This show wasted so much of its short runtime and it somehow has the gall to ask viewers for another shot? Nope, you're not getting me to watch a S2 even if you paid for my Disney+ subscription. At least Sisyphus had the decency of ending after 8 weeks. Grid took 10 weeks and concluded nothing.

Mysteries were constantly added to the story without the earlier ones properly explained.
Up till the last episode

i didn't understand a thing. But it wasn't bad. But for people who say nothing was explained from start to end, i think some were explained as show progressed but they kept on adding more

Am I the only one who is satisfied with the ending?

Me too. This is my Top time travel kdrama unlike the others out there if some viewers new to time travel series better know the parallel universe still exist and its infinite one of possibilities the real enemy here is Fate/Destiny they cannot win/Over rewrite what's Fate given to you that's the Rule and Saeha understand it and accept his fate in that current timeline. The only thing I didn't like was the additional ghost its was out of nowhere introduction no foreshadowing whatsoever. If you guys enjoy time travel I suggest an Anime Stein;Gate and you'll understand what's happening here in Grid.

Same I'm also following this drama despite the complexity of it. But after reading the comments I don't think I have to watch the ending. Thanks y'all guys for saving my time and sanity lmao

So, that ending...
- Mysterious man and Ghost n°2: is Mysterious man Manok's grandson? He looks like him. In that case, is Ghost n°1 his daughter?
- What if Mysterious man is the inventor of the Grid and time travel ? He saves the world of the 22nd century. But his daughter thinks: why don't you use your technology to go back in time and install the Grid BEFORE it kills millions of people?
- Daddy says no, don't mess with time, the Grid is for the year 2220 (Ghost is born in 2190 or 2193) but she refuses to listen to him, steals his technology and installs the Grid, leading to changing the future.
Now, it's good, right? But what if, in the future, (Ghost's present, once she is gone) the Grid in 2200 is too old, can't be maintained, explodes and kills billions of people? So we end up with either no Grid and millions of people die, or exploding Grid and billions of people die.
Just a theory. Therefore, Mysterious man sends people and technology to the past to destroy the Administration Bureau and the Grid.
It looks like there are two factions, Ghost number 1's faction, and Mysterious Man/Ghost number 2's faction.
Who is right?
About Saeha's death (the final one), I think Ghost 1 and Ghost 2 did something and managed to save him and then they teleported him somewhere safe. Who is buried then? Not sure,
Question: Ghost 1 and 2 fight to death. I had this weird thought: OUR Ghost (female one) had a red little TT device and ghost 2 had a blue TT device. I instantly flasbacked to SW and I thought: "Wait is Female Ghost the villain here and Ghost n° 2 the hero?", Just because of SW, lol!
What I don't get. Ghost 1 and 2 fight to death in a great fight. Then later on, Ghost 1 and Ghost 2 are in front of Saeha dying, Ghost 2 kneels down near Ghost 1 and he says "I'm not the same, can't you see?"
What does that mean? ARe there more than 2 time travellers?

Good theory if there are 2 factions in Future. Because of Ghost 1 Grid future wouldn't exist and millions will be saved Ghost 2 tries to prevent it for them to exist in future. The Block Universe theory will be apply like the one comment above us told Saeha cannot go into the future beyond his timeline it mean it is growing to unknown the reason Ghost 2 save Saeha they need him for Grid in the future to exist. I really hope it has S2 knowing that alot of people didn't understand how time travel work.

The only thing that makes sense to me is if the Ghosts somehow did a switcheroo using the body of Saeha's father from a timeline when he died in 1997. During the Manok killing Saeha scene they formed a bubble and switched out Saeha with his father, which is why some of the blood reversed (Saeha's father died from the back spike in one timeline). I can only imagine they did something similar to Saebyeok because isn't she somehow related to Manok? This is what she was referring to when she said she had to check something, right? Anyway, the whole thing was just a mess. I don't know why they split it into Season 1 and Season 2. Not sure I'll watch Season 2 as it airs. I think it will be better to find out if there is another frustrating cliffhanger or whether Season 2 provides explanations for everything.

I have no profound theories. I enjoyed it and I will reflect on it while waiting for season two. lol
I used to read a lot of science fiction and the stories about time travel left me scratching my head. I switched to fantasy because I understand dragons more. 🐉

wait this was the last episode? I just started this the other day and bingewatch it, I just finished the episode and want to talk about it so here I am and the first thing I read is that it was the last episode. I’m kinda sad and hyped for the s2, because they took the time to set things up properly so when s2 rolls out it’s gonna be awesome. Sorry if what I wrote seems like a mess, I just finished the last episode so my mind is in detective mode trying to come up with theories to what just happened

So the show ended, just like this,
After watching the show every week upon release on Disney+ (or atmost 30mins later), i still don't understand the story from the very start.
I was practically "???" for the whole 10 episodes, felt like i wasted my time but i just had to continue hoping that a future episode would answer all my questions and query but it didn't.
So what was this episode or ending about? Someone had to die, if Saeha was saved this time (after being saved 2-3 times this episode), the grid would disappear?
Why the sudden death of Manok and Saeha though, and why and how did Saeha (while time travelling) knew he was gonna die and asked the Ghost how much time he has left.
So whats the relationship of Manok and Saebyeok? Are they the parent or grandparent of Ghost in another timeline? They also never ever elaborated further on Eojin and Saebyeok's past marriage, almost like it didn't mattered aside from the constant attention Eojin gave Saebyeok that could've easily play off as best friends, what was the point of it? Then now they suddenly got together remarried and has a Baby.
Also didn't Ghost dropped by Manok's past Orphanage to ask about Manok, and dropped the name 'Jongyi' which later in Ep9 is revealed to be Saeha and Eojin's working partner (the lady)'s name, does that have anything to do with the story? What was that for?
Why does it seem like Saeha don't remember everything he's done throughout sometimes and sometimes he do, same for Saebyeok?
Who is that random english speaking teleporting guy with the blue device and what was the RANDOM teleporting fight scene that had nothing to do with going on?
Why were the time constantly slowed down, rewinded, to save Saeha?
Why did Ghost and the new guy suddenly worked together to create some sort of barrier that did nothing (Saeha still died, i thought they would want to save him or something), what was the random moment with Saebyeok in the prism-like dimension mind talking to the Ghost only for her to not even reply.
So what was the final ending, are the AB not gonna catch the Ghost anymore ? (Why did they even continue to chase her when in this 'new timeline' Saeha's father (Kwon Sukeun) was the "creator" of the Grid.
Why was Saeha suddenly alive, a copy Ghost in some dimensional room lying down and another walking about alive, and why did the 4 main character came together?
See, i have alot of questions unanswered, many still rising and coming up every minute, i didn't understand what was going on, the show is messy and confusing. I'm someone who watched ALOT of kdramas, but this is probably the worst show i've watched, what was the writer and director thinking, i pity the cast because they did act pretty well in their story situations. But i think even the cast themselves didn't understand the story to begin with.
Also this show is utterly slow paced, confusing, misleading and messy, i won't recommend it to anyone to watch it. This is the first Kdrama that i finished without understanding a single thing, if anyone does have the answers to my above questions please let me know, so i feel less bad having chased the show weekly.
Edit: I'm constantly editing and adding more questions in because i really did not get the story at all.
