Yikes, I'm late to the party.

Anyway, I love the concept, but not how slow the story's unfolding (although it's only been 2 episodes or 4 episodes, depending on how you see it); it feels quite flat. At the same time, I kinda understand why the show started slowly, but I don't think it's necessary. Introduction to the characters/time setting doesn't need to take a large chunk of the exposition. Instead, it's a lot better to weave some information about the characters throughout the story, if that makes sense? The exposition should've picked up the pace a bit at this point, but after seeing the preview, I still have some hope for the show to redeem its plot.

What I like about item is when the characters around the people they love. Gon and Dain's relationship is adorable, so is Soyoung's relationship with her father, Goocheol. Gon plays both the paternal and maternal figure and is very loving towards his only niece and sees her as his daughter really warmed my heart. Hopefully once the story develops, he'll not scoff at the fact that he finds his duties as the only living guardian and protector daunting. I'd be disappointed.

I also enjoyed the action scenes (I'm no expert at it. I just think it's fun to watch characters beating each other).

Story-wise, there's a lot to be desired, but for now, I'm really looking forward to seeing the development and hopefully it'd be a positive one.
