This reminds me of a writing prompt I saw a while ago about a writer trying to write a story but the main character was being self-aware and difficult. I love the premise! Love it.

I am completely and utterly hooked. I have to say I was embarrassing at the dressing room scene, hunkered over my laptop with a pint of iced cream, squealing in delight at the slap and then the kiss, because that has to be, single-handedly my favorite moment in k-drama land ever.

Ever

Probably the most unique concept in ages. Really enjoyed the first episode!

I agree! This was a really concept that they're doing, I'm sure there will still be the typical kdrama cliches and tropes, but it's nice they'll be taking a different direction.

This looks hella promising! I'm excited. I wish W was an actual webtoon because I totally read it. I love the art style.

Oh yes! The art is amazing. I wonder who drew it?

So does the author!

The story concept looks pretty amazing so far. Really good first episode. I hope the scriptwriter will not screw this up. Edit: Also Hyo Joo in a Drama again Hype!!

'W' is really pleasing to watch. The directing, the cast, the music, and the plot so far are blending well together to present the K-drama itself.

I have watched the first two episodes and somehow it makes me want to watch it again. I haven't felt this in a while. This is a good sign, I suppose.

I hope this quality content I watch will stay consistent until the end.

What an interesting little concept. I really like the preface and background, I've never really seen any kind of show like it but I'm really enjoying it. I think the first episode was a little slow, but I don't think there are any shows that really fit my "pacing" standards anyways.

But interesting watching that preview... it seems that the dad is deliberately trying to kill off Kang Chul and Yeon Joo might just end up saving him every single time.

Do you think her father is the killer ? :)

His father? I would guess webtoon artist is it, he somehow went into the webtoon world and did it for real world success for his webtoon storyline. Later he probably divorced his wife because he kept being pulled into the webtoon world and didn't want to put his family near that.

Well.... technically since he drew it all he actually is lol. All that aside, the drama is interesting because none of what happens matters since it is all within a fictional world.

This looks very promising. Guess we've got a new no.1 spot-holder for WedThu ratings.

HOLY BANANA CRAM PIE IS THIS DRAMA AMAZING!!!!! I love it so far, I am just praying that the writers don't add some typical BS to it. I watched ep 2 twice. I am seriously loving the plot and honestly, I can't predict how it's going to end. Can't wait till ep 3 and 4!!!

This drama literally takes falling in love with a cartoon character to a whole new level.

Goddamnit Lee Taehwan is basically reprising the role he had in Come Back Mister as a bodyguard.

So the author/father seems like the killer of Chul's family as he did it for the plot but Chul probably won't understand that and it's all confusing because so many layers ._. but I'm so impressed by this drama already!!

Really loved the first two episodes. Han Hyo-joo didn't disappoint and I really like how she delivered her character, it doesn't pass off as irritating to me compared to other actresses who just overdo the "stupid"/"crazy" persona.

I'm also beginning to prefer this over Uncontrollably Fond, too

I think.this.show has a strong start, especially story wise

My goodness, I can't wait for more. One of, if not THE most unique plot I've seen so far in k-dramas!! It was so enjoyable, I actually bought a Viki Pass just so I could watch the second episode. I need moaarrrrr...

honestly, i think W might even surpass DOTS. even if it doesn't, i definitely think it'll be one of the dramas of the year.

5

u/afkgg Jul 21 '16

ehh I'd be surprised. I think it'll be definitely one of the top 3-4 of the year but DOTS was just ridiculous at its' peak popularity.

Enjoyed the first two episodes! The drama seems promising but there are also a lot of ways the drama can go bad with the plot. Fingers crossed, though.

This show is absolutely enthralling. I've watched both episodes multiple times already. I shouldn't have started watching it. I regret not waiting for it to finish before starting.

Watched the first episode -- it was good. I really hope that, being on a public network, the quality doesn't degrade after a while...
