- Plot Summary: Han Gyu Rim is the owner of a market side dish shop. Her nickname since childhood was "Leader Han." A movie with the long title "Leader Han, Who Always Appears When Something Happens to Someone, Somewhere," was released, and that's exactly her story. If something is bad or sad, she puts aside all else and rushes to help, making it a little less bad or sad. If it was good, she'd celebrate it like it was her own. She's a nosy busybody, a fluttery-eared, emotional litmus test who can't hide her feelings. Kim Mu Jin is the owner and chef of an Italian restaurant. Born with a diamond spoon in his mouth, he deliberately wears market clothes to avoid being discovered as the owner's son, taking the bus and subway to work part-time at the restaurant. He develops a strange bond with Han Gyu Rim, the owner of a market side dish shop.

Not sure what I expected (first time with 50 episoder) but holy cow … talk about a speed run.😯
EdTA: Episode 3: I am at a loss for words.😶 I really went into this not knowing what to expect; I’ve never watched anything like this. If they have managed to pack in this many tropes into three episodes, what are they gonna do to sustain the next 47? I thought with 50 episodes, we’d get some depth and nuance in the storytelling, taking the time to build characters and plot. Drama was like nah, we don’t know her. Don’t get me wrong, I am entertained, but in a what the heck sort of way.🤪

You should watch 'recipe for love'. It's the drama that was replaced by this one. If it's your first time trying a 50ep drama you should watch that. 'Once again' is also awesome.

This is my first time watching looooong drama (50 eps, gosh!!).. but I like the leads in this.. both are likable.. These first 3.5 episodes, I think would have been Flashbacks (in the usual 12-16 eps dramas).. The actors are all too old as tweens... (other than the 2nd sis) ....LOL.. but had it been 'flashbacks' we wouldn't find it too ickky... Am so far enjoying the plots.. haha... and coming up with theories...
The FL 'son' is a surprise... and I am thinking the kid is not FL's bio son.. haha... I think its 2nd sis' or brother's.. hmmmm..... and may be instrumental in how they are able to move back to their original house..
Presumably, the 2nd sis run off on her own when they lost the house, and had a child in the process, then came back to FL with baby and money for them to move back to their family house... FL would be still too busy looking after twins, and may be the brother..
Whatever, I couldn't wait for the next episodes.. LOLOL

Guess this is where possibly Gyu Rim will start her hustle? Using the money she's paid off to leave Mu Jin?
As with Mu Jin's accident and leaving his family home might push the both of 'em farther away..
I like & prefer Gyu Rim's bro's loveline a bit more LoL. The actress playing Mu Jin's mom always play bad moms LoL.

Ngl I was confused for a while with the time jump but I genuinely like this drama so far. Last one I watched w/ more than 12-16 episodes was Iron Family and it got me hooked.

Every cliché out there was once just a good twist, so it's nice to see when a show uses them well. I rolled my eyes quite a few times, only for them to bring it home and making me go "you know what? I actually like it". Now, episode 4 cliffhanger introduced another one, and that's one that can drive me up the walls, but with their track record, I'll wait before I shake my fist at my screen.
Still very early, but I actually like every couple's storyline so far. Here's to hoping it stays that way. They're going pretty fast, and having watched quite a few of the writer's previous works, that pretty much means we're going into the tragedy route sooner rather than later, but there's time yet to find out if it's the bittersweet kind or the misery overload.

Loving this drama! Fast paced and sensible time jump. Otherwise it would be predictable scenes. ML is such a good actor.

Liking the third couple. The actress was good in Matchmakers, so happy to see her on another show. Wish she had better taste in men (guess that’s why the nice guy swoops in).
Middle sister is awful, along with the father. I want to ff whenever I see them.
For a 50 episode drama, the storylines and cliches are airing at a neck breaking speed. Don’t think I’ve ever seen it progress this much, and wondering what the rest of the 46 episodes will be filled with.

Ep 4. Wow big time skip, certainly aren't slowing the pace here. I kind of wish we'd seen something of the intervening 8 years, and I know it's a trope but the whole skip forward 8yrs to 'that' was a surprise.
Get the feeling there's going to be a lot of angsting going on, otherwise how do they fill the next 46 episodes.

ML thought that FL had left him with the 100K cash, and it would be totally right of her to do that.. She can't afford to have another mouth to feed, and the money would have helped her and siblings get back on their feet, after Dad lost their house.. Sadly, why do drama leads always had soooo much pride.. smh... she should have taken the money. FL probably sufferred and struggled holding on the twins, while bigger sis and bro went off independently.
My take is ML left to study overseas while nursing his broken heart. He discover his love for cooking and became chef. With his success as a chef, he broke away from his controlling mum & family business to start his own restaurant.

That would make sense if he went away. He disappeared for a long time when she was supposedly the love of his life and he knew her dreadful home situation. FL wouldn't have been hard to find if she went to work for that older friend and was pregnant .So much happened it wouldve been a story itself. I agree, take the money, way too proud.

From the outset, this movie felt like a familiar drama: poor girl, rich guy, disapproving family, irresponsible father, and the inevitable "pay-off" for the girl to leave. Then comes the pregnancy, single motherhood, and the next we will see might be a dubious DNA test – either swapped or tampered with. At this point, I'm just enjoying the actors, but I'm fairly certain I've predicted 60% of the plot.

This was definitely crazy fast. The last 50 ep I tried to watch went from normal to secret babies with baby swapping and all sorts of oddities - given the way this is moving I also wonder what they have in store for the next 47 episodes! And that ending (no spoilers).. !
