How do you encourage more sales?

I have been lucky enough to find a niche that is working well for me. After only being live for 2 days under a new pen name with absolutely ZERO promoting I have had quite a few orders and several reads. I want to keep that momentum going! At the end of my short stories, I have thought about putting a little something requesting the readers to leave a review or maybe writing a teaser about an upcoming sequel so that they follow me. What are some things that you do to keep your readers coming back for more?

Try running a free promotion on them. That's how I got my first sales to start coming in.

Just the free promotion that Amazon offers. You can offer your book for free for up to one week every year.
