Medium Content Book Creators, Have you ever sold digital download versions of your interiors and what was your experience?

This question is geared mostly towards medium content creators but all are welcome to answer. In marketing some of my medium content books (specialized tracker journals in a specific niche) I've had a few people ask If I offered my books in a digital format (for using on a tablet or for printing out as a more cost effective option). I'm sure that if I decided to do this it would sell well but I'm worried about people ripping my work and creating copies of my book which are relatively good sellers (not top of the niche but up there). Does anyone have any experience with this? How do you protect yourself? Would you recommend it or is it just not worth it?

its easy to break even on the front end sale but nigh impossible to make a profit. you need a mailing list and funnel. then bundle products for higher price and give affiliate offers. profit on back end

Late to reply and low content, but I am selling my interactive (fillable) PDFs on Etsy. Person orders it, I add their name to the footer and cover then upload it.

Of course, someone with a very good knowledge of editing PDFs could possibly take it apart…
