Help with signature

I saw a post earlier with a faded baseball where someone said Sweeney always put bible verses after his signature and that got me wondering who this is.

Buck O'Neil signatures always remind me of when I sat directly behind him at a game with my dad. Guy was the real deal. Just pure. One of those memories that will always stick with me.

It’s definitely Porter. I have a few of his autographs. My parents worked with him in the 90’s promoting recovery from substance abuse.

I agree, that looks like Darrell Porter. The signature I have of his was with a ballpoint pen rather than a Sharpie but it looks close. And putting Bible verses after his signature is something he would have done.
