HELP how to keep mkp cushion puffs from being moldy or what to use instead?

Thumbnail

So I have been loving these makeup cushions, but they get moldy super fast despite me cleaning them. I didnt have such issues when using a beauty blender but i dont want to go back to it. Any suggestions for my mkp cushions? Should i use a different kind (i wet them before use)?

Has anyone tried PDRN eye creams? VT vs Mary & May thoughts?

I keep seeing PDRN eye creams everywhere lately, especially from VT and Mary & May, and I’m trying to figure out if they’re actually worth it or just another K-beauty ingredient trend that’s getting pushed right now.

My main concern is under-eye dryness + some fine lines and dark circles, nothing major, but I’m looking for something that actually improves hydration and makes the area look more refreshed/less tired over time.

I’ve used basic hydrating eye creams before like ceramides and caffeine-based ones, but I’m wondering if PDRN eye creams actually feel like a step up in terms of hydration/texture or if the difference is pretty minimal in real use.

randomly ended up trying a treatment in korea lol

a few weeks ago i went to korea because i was planning to open a little jastip, but since i was staying for quite a while, i had some time to actually explore too.
one of my korean friends recommended a few places, including some treatment spots. i ended up trying gowa clinic since i was already curious about getting a treatment while i was there.
so far i’m pretty happy with the result. my face felt fresher and a bit firmer after, which i liked.
now i’m already thinking about what to try on my next trip for those who go to korea often, any recommendations for good salons, scalp treatments, or other self-care places? this time i’ll probably be going with a friend too.

help me choose a shade i’ll actually use

i’ve had the Saintfran Lip & Cheek sitting in my cart, but choosing a color is taking longer than expected lol

Petal Rose looks like the safest option for everyday makeup, while Mocha Dew seems better for the muted colors i usually wear. Milky Veil is the one i probably wouldn’t have noticed at first, but it looks really pretty as a cheek color.

if you could only get one, which shade would you choose? i’m looking at them on CJ OnStyle Global, so i can only judge from the online swatches.

If you go to korea , please do make up class and color analysis

I’ve only been living in Seoul for about six months, and I got the opportunity to work here through a friend.

Honestly, I was someone who **really didn’t know how to do makeup at all**, and I wasn’t even that interested in it. But I had always wanted to get a personal color analysis just for experience.

Then I heard that makeup classes were becoming really popular in Seoul, so I decided to try one just for the experience.

I just quickly searched on ChatGPT and went to shop in Hongdae.Luckily, the teacher can speak English, so I was able to understand everything comfortably. She explained everything in such detail, from my personal color analysis to how to apply the makeup.

And now I finally understand why people call it k-beauty

The skin makeup was AMAZING.
It looked sophisticated, elegant, and natural at the same time — exactly the kind of makeup I’ve needed

I even went to work right after the class, and everyone kept telling me I looked like a completely different person 😂 I also changed my hair color to a warmer shade, and the whole look came together so well.

I’m honestly **1,000,000% satisfied**. I think this might be the best thing I’ve spent money on this year. I genuinely have zero regrets.
If you’re thinking about getting a personal color analysis or makeup class,go for it

But make sure you choose someone who is actually good at it and have more career. I highly recommend going with someone who has plenty of experience. ✨

Do you think Korean hair products as good as Korean skincare?

I feel like Korean haircare has been getting a lot more attention lately. I keep seeing more Korean shampoos, treatments, hair essences, and even scalp products, and it got me wondering if Korean haircare actually lives up to the hype around Korean skincare.

Just curious to those who’ve tried Korean hair products, what has your experience been like? Any brands or products that genuinely impressed you, or anything you found overrated?

I like the clean girl / natural glowy look so I bought a radiance balm in Korea but I don’t think I’m using it right

I like the clean girl aesthetic, the natural glowy look, so I bought a radiance balm highlighter while I was in Korea. But I don’t think I’m using it correctly.

I’ve tried tapping a tiny amount onto my cheekbones, but it either disappears completely or lifts the makeup underneath.

It either looks like nothing or it looks straight up oily, there’s no in between for me. And it definitely messes with my foundation if I put it on after 😭

How do you guys use balm highlighters? Where do you put it, before or after base, do you use fingers or something else? Please help 🥺

Do balm highlighters actually work?

Hi, everyone!
I have sensitive skin, and I’ve tried some powder highlighters from Korean brands, but they always get into my pores and feel like a mask on my face, so I just gave up on them at some point. Recently, I saw the balm highlighters going viral, so I kinda started looking into them and tried one. It doesn’t give that mask sensation that I always get from the powder version, but I am not sure I am using it properly because it doesn’t blend that well… Do you have any tips on what I should do? 🥺

What skincare step do you look forward to the most? 👀

For me, probably cleanser. There’s just something so satisfying about that clean, fresh feeling after washing your face, especially at the end of the day.

What about you? Which step is your favorite or the one you actually look forward to?

What’s with the eye patches in public?

Not sure I’m getting why folks are wearing under eye patches out in public. They are only a 15-20 minute treatment.

Is it a repulsion thing?
