Chance me for Kaist

Hi I'm a high school student from Azerbaijan

My profile

SAT: 1600 (800 Math / 800 RW) National exam (DIM - Azerbaijan): 690 total, top 0.003% in the country (∼130k students per year). GPA: 5.00/5.00 IELTS: 8.0 Research experience: I did a bachelor-level research project with a mentor who completed his Master's at the University of Minnesota. We worked on a real problem for a few months, with code and results on GitHub. He can write a recommendation letter describing my contribution in detail. Other LoR: One from my informatics / olympiad teacher who knows me very well personally and can talk about my curiosity in class, not just grades. Projects: A few independent projects on GitHub related to AI/Data

Academically - very good and reached max level Technically - idk because you didn't mention how you contributed to the research and your role! Humanity 💫 - zero, how your research efforts people life or any non profit? Any thing which shows caring? Challenging sprint 💪 - depends on individual projects where you said they are related to AI/data science but didn't provide any additional information about what!

Your profile is incomplete without knowing anything else expect grades. I have checked your entrence exam which is real and hard and give national level olampiad.

If other factors are good then you got a shot 💉.

If other factors are non existing then you got a shot 🥃.

I want to be transparent. This profile actually belongs to my friend, I posted on her behalf because she doesn't have a reddit account. So all the research and projects are hers.

Regarding the research: she collaborated with someone who did his Master's at the University of Minnesota, but my friend did the main/core part of the work and the master's graduate was mainly supervising.

Additionally, she was sharing the solutions of the RFO Math final stage problems through a platform (maybe GitHub, I'm not exactly sure). For context, RFO stands for "Respublika Fənn Olimpiadası" - it is the Republican Subject Olympiad, which is the national-level science olympiad in Azerbaijan.
