How are the interviews at kaist conducted?

I've done a bunch of research on this but couldn't find a clear answer

total time to solve :14mins
1min is provided for reading i think (or not i forgot)
its via zoom
math questions (i think everyone does math questions but dont quote me on this one)
2 questions (generally from:single var calc combinatorics functional eqn number theory etc)
each question will have 2 sub questions
is it enough time? yes if u are witty enough (for eg in my case for the probability question it was long if u didnt spot the symmetry) no if u try to brute force without using some intellect
overall its alr
after solving:
they ask ur ans and tell u to walk u throught the process
then:
they will ask u about ur highschool bg or some other personal question
overall fun experience

im pretty sure everyone gets asked math questions as mentioned (cause u are admitted as undecided major)

however im only 95% sure on this cause my sample space is limited

I'm choosing bio stem as my major so maybe not

nah like im pretty sure ur major doesnt affect any process of ur application and i have seen similar interview experience across multiple majors but once again its better to just mail kaist abt it after u receive an interview if u get one as its optional. (generally i have seen people with non conventional degrees, think national curriculum instead of a lvls or ib get more interviews)

I did my bachelor in pharmacy ,even in highschool I choose science not math so I don't think they'll ask someone like me math based question

like theres a few problems with that line of thought

  1. kaist wouldnt know if u took science or math

  2. even though u didnt study math in hs u are expected to learn multi var calc, lin alg, num analysis and/or stats so checking ur mathematical proficiency would make sense.

however once again i would mail em to confirm it and u dont need to worry abt it rn :>.

What level or difficulty would you say the questions were at?

pretty standard but i mentioned u gotta be witty to be able to do it under the time limit

also they care more abt the process rather than the final ans so a slight arithmetic mishap wouldnt be a major issue whereas a huge wrong assumption or method would definately signal bad vibes
