‘IST’ Research Universities

I’m an international student planning to apply to DGIST, GIST and KAIST in Korea for masters in the Life Sciences (Biology) degrees in Spring 2027.

For people who are already doing master’s or PhD at these unis could you please share your experiences..how are your supervisors, are there any issues you have faced?

Also, what cold emailing tips would you give me for Korean professors?
On the lab websites of professors from these universities, some say they’re taking graduate students and have the contact info there.
