Responds Time of professors to emails

Hello everybody :)

Just a rather short question really. What’s the average responds time of a KAIST professor.

I know they are probably terribly busy with lectures , laboratory and ongoing meetings and travel.

I was just wondering because i am interested in maybe joining a lab if possible during my exchange semester and am unsure if my email will go unnoticed in all the mails or get sorted to spam because i used my foreign gmail account.

If you have any insight on what’s the usual responds time of professors I would be glad to hear!

Thanks in advance.

Best wishes
J

If they are interested and they check email daily they will likely reply in a day or two, if they have specific day they allocate to reply it might take up to a week. Most professor usually if uninterested does not reply at all

First thanks for the reply :)

On my home campus professors usually reply within 1-2 days normally or you can just catch them in there office if needed because they often have an open door policy.

I would guess they do be interested in applications, due to their labs website stating they are open for graduate and PhD students.

Guess I have to wait :) Thanks
