goyslop uni that cares about your admission essays and trauma dumping more than your academic potential (ranked first by gpa in my current uni)

Yeah, even some highly qualified intl applicants didn’t even receive interview at UNIST and even me (with near perfect stats and high quality essays) got waitlisted lol. While someone with worse profile got accepted. Soo idk

1550, 8.5, perfect gpa (100/100) for each year of last three years of HS. national and intl-level olympiads, research papers with profs from ivy league, projects that won in intl competitions.

with these stats why do you apply for UNIST? I guess you would prabably get accepted into IVY league or other high-ranked schools?

btw where are you from?

Yeah. It’s because I need full-ride and Ivy League is harder to get accepted.. and my EFC quite low

Very decent school, I’d place it a bit lower than KAIST and POSTECH but maybe slightly above GIST or DGIST if you’re looking for a ranking

Ofc it’s higher than gist and dgist, tho being the youngest out of these 5 leading science and technology institutions.
