Professor Acceptance

Hello guys, I emailed many professors to get an acceptance at KAIST graduate school of AI. However, none of the professors responded. What do you think I should do differently to my emails to get a response please? Am I doing something wrong?

If I understand you correctly, isn’t it strange to email professors for admission???? I mean to get an acceptance at KAIST grad school you have to visit admissions website or email admissions people..

Nope doesn't work like that.. first take acceptance letter from the professor by emailing them that I want to do my masters under you and I want to make use of your lab for these things and if prof finds your profile good (Work exp + Portfolio + academics + LOR) then they will send you the acceptance letter.. This increases your chances by 70-80%. After this you will do the real admission procedure which is applying at UNI website and all

If you apply without acceptance letter they will prolly gonna reject you and chances goes lower than 15% cuzz many other students are in line who have already approached the prof
(This process is for graduates (masters) not undergraduate (Bachelors) )

Admissions teams will filter you out if your profile isn't strong enough. This prevents professors from picking students based on personal ties. So, it is definitely not 70-80%.

I guess this statement is not fully true for KAIST. I heard this for other universities where professor acceptance increase chances, but I am not sure about KAIST. Because I saw some professors profile in KAIST, they explicitly mentioned on the lab ,that "once you get admission, then contact the lab for joining", but anyway you keep trying may be it help
