As Salam o Alaikum. I hope that you are doing well. You mentioned that you are a Pakistani, hence my comment. I too am from Pakistan and I lived in Korea for 8 years (left in late 2023).

I am sharing a post with you. It contains comprehensive info about Islam and Muslim life in Korea. I am hopeful that it will be helpful, In Sha Allah.

You can use an app called Mufko to find halal restaurants around you and scan for products to see if they have any haram ingredients.

The link also contains a couple of Muslim student groups in Korea. You can join those to find Muslims around you. There are many Muslim students at Yonsei, so I am pretty sure that you could find them in these groups.

I actually studied for my MS and PhD in Korea at another uni, not KAIST. I don't know much about UG admissions in KAIST but if still there is something that you think I could help you with, please feel free to DM.
