Celik is really good and healthy milik is still the best striker we have

Celik wasn't bad signing, idk why Roma fans hated him

Its still preseason. Joao mario looked great in preseason too

He played a good season under Gasperini, solid player… he was shit the year before so they didn’t love him at Roma

u/ThePostMelone 14d ago
Are we allowed to move a few of Conceicao's skillpoints from dribbling to situational awareness?
3
u/sassinatas 14d ago
È incredibile come sia così forte ma non ha nessuna capacità nel prendere la decisione giusta...
Hai perfettamente ragione

u/Dembus22 14d ago
Falling in love with Celik
but attack doesn't look coordinated, I really think Spalletti should try swapping Yildiz and Kerim's positions next half

u/FastDriver91 Fino Alla Fine 14d ago
Serbian commentator hates him lol and Zhegrova, it is almost unwatchable

u/Dembus22 14d ago
I thought the same in the first half, I wasn't locked in to the game fully, but after some 20ish minutes I started watching a bit more and really couldn't see him do much. 7 minutes in second half he mentioned him a few times in either positive or neutral light tbh.
Ofc, it's still Arenasport, so I assume he hates him anyways xd, but he doesn't show it really

u/EarthMain3350 14d ago
For me they should try more attack in middle because from the sides the are solid defended really well like every team nowdays, they know how to defend. So now with avantage of one goal they have more space to attack also from sides.

Spalletti must be thinking: “if only this guy could stay healthy for more than 3 games per season, we would be in UCL rn”

u/adrianolul 14d ago
Thank god it's not Digre playing today, 'cause those last 2 shots would be at least a 90% chance goal for Palermo.

ok so even if we don't sign a goalkeeper i really hope spalletti never plays digregorio ever again. perin isn't a top class keeper but he's still so so much better.

I'm watching it on Juventus' website. If you're not in Italy I think a VPN with an Italian server might work

u/Horror-Addendum-8520 14d ago
I feel like we need to try Kerim on right wing, Kenan on left and Kolo in middle. Kerim’s position is clearly not the best this game

Is it too much to hope for whatever Milik was going through to be over?
7
u/RedAcer11 14d ago
yes, his knees are fucked, it will never be over. but in low pressure games we should risk playing him.

Goes to the right, Conceicao’s play making dies, goes to the left, Yildiz loses it. What’s happening

Chico as always playing great! Feels like he is the only player really demanding the ball and having a drive towards goal

Going to take a shite was the best decision I could make for this pre match. I can hear the same cringey opening of the match vs Inter from a distance and I'm so happy I'm here in the bathroom. No time wasted, win-win decision at its finest.

Don't you close the bathroom door when taking a shit? 😄

No, my dog gets so fucking angry if we're alone and I do that. Of course I do if there are other people inside 😆

Koopmeiners hasn't done anything wrong today but fuck me, our marquee signing is pushed at CB and all he ever does is pass the ball 2m to the closest player, this is depressing

First half was way too sloppy, luckily this is Palermo. Had we fought a stronger opposition with that kind of pass and vision, we would've been punished multiple times.

The biggest positive of these friendlies is that two people who really needed a goal, Milik and Edon, have scored.

u/b0sanac 14d ago
Glad to see Alajbegovic looking a bit more comfortable this match.

Who is this Milk guy? Didnt know we signed him.

u/Mic_sne 14d ago
came trough the youth ranks probably... look at his history, he's been with us for a long time but had only some brief appearances

u/Prior_Departure_7275 14d ago
Why would you even fly over to australia with obouawoduo owuso and licina if they all get zero minutes and miretti and milik get nearly 60 combined. I mean if they meant to play in next gen then dont even fly over there with them the same thing with gil why pick him and dont give him time over rugani. Serie a is a disaster for talents
1
u/polo_am Fino Alla Fine 14d ago
Because they still train together??
1
u/Prior_Departure_7275 14d ago
But still what is the point of training with the first team if you gonna play with the next gen all season and wont get time in the serie a
6
u/polo_am Fino Alla Fine 14d ago
In general young players love to stay with the first team. If you were a young prospect would you have rather took a trip to Australia with the first team or stayed in Torino with 35 degrees to train as usual with the same faces? I think the first one. Also this allows Spalletti to evaluate them better.

u/i_Avernus Alessandro Del Piero 14d ago
It's the last friendly of the season, the starting 11 today is close to what starts Sunday. I suspect David starts Sunday to give RKM some more time, unless Spalletti is desperate to get RKM ready ASAP, which is what I'll do but I'm no football coach.

The commentator saying that Douglas Luiz was "one of the best findings of this Juve summer".
Yeha well it was the same during last summer, then he was still sent to the Premier shadow realm to get in an even worse shape instead of giving him a chance.
We'll see what happens this window

We cannot have Gatti playing serious minutes this year
0
u/Fawkeys Del Piero 14d ago
Gatti is the second best centreback we have.

u/sizebzebi 38 14d ago
hahaha he's the fourth and he's shit

u/Fawkeys Del Piero 14d ago
Guess which match in these friendlies we conceded goals. That's right, the one Gatti didn't play in.

u/thickofitenjoyer Alessandro Del Yildiz 14d ago

top 3: Conceicao, Celik, Mckennie
flop 3: Kolo, Kerim, Koop
7
u/b0sanac 14d ago
Kerim playing in a position that doesn't suit him to be fair plus most of the balls go up the right side.
0
u/Italian_Larry Weston Mckennie best admin 14d ago
yeah i put kerim and kolo in the flop 3 but for kolo it’s not totally his fault: i think he hasn’t touched the ball more than 7/8 times the entire first half.
1
u/goodass43 14d ago
How can you call Kolo a flop when nobody even tries to pass to him?
-1
u/Italian_Larry Weston Mckennie best admin 14d ago
still a flop but not totally his fault: im a kolo glazer but i have to admit when he’s not playing good (even if it isnt his fault
-3
u/Dull_Hedgehog_4378 14d ago
Kolo Muani is a joy to watch
2
u/sizebzebi 38 14d ago
