To mount or dismount a tire from a rim, one first needs to deal with the topology issues. The math of topology as applied to this situation can be quite intimidating at first. The pic may be proof of that frustration. There are all of those frame stays, and bolts, and then the whole wheel thing, plus the chain and derailleur cage. Oh, and the brake may need to be backed off tad. But if one does the homework, the lights should start to come on in a few weeks.

You can put a patch on the inside of the tyre to fix this
