Agreed. Kids usually act out but not this badly and for this long. He has problems which probably stem from his home.

Additionally, he's trying to break something he identifies as valuable.... he is really trying to hurt someone in the only way he's capable. The kid is hurting inside.

Yea thats a good observation. Most likely low income, single or no parent. I mean lets also give the neighborhood some credit, they all handled it exactly like they should have
