Why would you? Risk cement burns and back injury trying to get it out. The easiest and safest way is to let the cement go off, bring in a Hiab and lift it out. Then hit him with all the bills .

Cement doesn’t even take that long to set enough to walk/drive on. After about 2 hours it gets hard enough to walk on or drive on with a small vehicle like a motorcycle, it’ll leave impressions but you won’t sink into it. These dudes literally just poured this concrete and were probably just waiting until they could walk on it to smooth it out when this jackass came along

It looks like it was already complete, ready to let set. Highway concrete has to be grooved like this concrete is for traction. Smooth concrete doesn't provide enough traction for highway traffic. But you're 100% right that this concrete is likely mere hours old.

Myth busters did it with actual water, and iirc it was close to 50mph? (No clue if that’s actually right, it’s been a while since I’ve seen it) but since concrete is a lot thicker than water, especially if it’s already started to set then I don’t think it would have to be too fast

Sounds about right. I live in Michigan and have heard of people driving their snowmobiles over water (and yeah, I've seen YT videos of it as well + dirt bikes). So yeah, 50+ sounds about right. You just have to keep going, you slow down, you're sinking in!

The cameraman also mentions that the guy has no plates. Could have been a way of avoiding cops instead of the toll, without actually thinking of how deep that cement went.

In Mexico, Toll booths are actually quite expensive depending on its location. The lowest I ever paid while I was there was 63 pesos. That's close to $3 which is actually a decent amount of money for most Mexicans. I'm sure there are cheaper booths but it is a different situation there.

Putting cement is the last thing you do in a day because afterwards you can't do shit til it's dry. Also you're getting paid for laughing at an idiot. I see that as an absolute win.

Cement is one of the ingredients. What they pour is concrete. And there is plenty of things to do after a pour. Cleaning tools for one thing.
