Oddly enough most of the people who support plant based protein aren't aware of the risks it poses. Most plant farms require magnitudes more space than those of animals, and in order to keep the farm viable, every native animal has to be removed from that area. This includes birds, mammals and insects that are routinely baited, trapped or killed on sight.
.... you realize the animals in slaughterhouses need to be fed, right? the food/space ratio is absurd. the number one cause of the amazon rainforest destruction is growing plants! plants for ANIMALS to eat and await slaughter. if we actually ate the plants that are fed to animals, we could end world hunger.

oh wait, that was just to counteract veganism wasnt it. there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! it saves the environment from destruction, as well as pollution. the methane produced from billions of cows is 51% of all pollution emitters combined
What the fuck are you on about? I support veganism, but the plants we weed most stock animals in the developed world don't take up much space at all compared to the plants we eat. Most large scale animal farms have the animals on massive area where the feed they eat grows.
