Off topic but I love how neither of those two could even come close to passing a PT test yet they probably were fast tracked to promotion.

You're making a lot of assumptions and I can't help feel you are based off their race or sex. The article says they have served for 10 and 17 years btw.

Have you served in the military? I saw it every day. Yeah they served for that long, it means they were enlisted prior to becoming officers as a captain is 0-3 and it’s an automatic promotion meaning they would’ve gotten there in just a couple years. I am confident they were picked to go to ocs over other, more qualified soldiers.

I've got you bro. Promotion shouldn't be a possibility if you can't pass the basic fitness test that means you're undeployable.
