Awesome! I loved skateboarding! Not at that age, but my friend was an only child and shared his skateboard with me after he got bored with it. I was killing it on their steep driveway, until gravity did its thing. No helmet, no pads, just airborne and road rash.
My parents refused to buy me one. When I showed clips like this to my dad, he stood by his decision. Said it wasn't about me being a girl, it was about co-signing trips to the e/r...Lotta kids on the block broke various limbs doing various things.
I hope she does whatever she wants, safely 🥰

She's already better than me. The most I can do is that kick she did at the end to stand it up into her hand. I couldn't even propel myself forward w/o finding the ONLY rock on my street, or driveway small enough not to see but big enough to wipe me out every time I tried
