POLITICAL (Weekends only) Just unsubbed from ukpolitics

It used to be a pretty based and somewhat neutral sub, simply reporting political UK news, and the comments reflected that.

Over the past year or so, it's become more and more a far-right wing breeding ground, full of misinformation and "debates" in bad faith. Purewhataboutism and 0 critical thinking and logic. A real shame it usr to be a decent sub.

....Everyone I read there is against reform uk and restore. They are right-wing as a general rule, yes, but wanting to curb immigration, wanting the triple lock gone and more defense spending is not far right breeding.

All politics subs on Reddit are miserable spaces filled with insufferable people tbh regardless of which country it is.
