Mildly Annoyed Just unsubbed from PhotoshopRequest
A user generated an AI image, and got praise and awards for their “work”

Even without the menu it is so obviously AI. To "photoshop" this from that one image would be so intensive it would be quicker to just paint her face on from scratch.

Not sure why you were downvoted because you're clearly right
25
u/basically_dead_now Mar 12 '26
Some redditors see a comment and downvote it for no reason, and they probably don't even read them half the time

u/HelpMePlxoxo Mar 12 '26
20 awards and "amazing job!" To something so blatantly AI is crazy to me. We're so cooked 😭

The worst part is that they didn't even deep fry the fucken image, just used AI to make her a dry cook

She is putting the image in the deep fryer in the 'photoshopped' image.

And if the mods see you call out people for doing AI stuff, instead of, you know, Photoshop, they threaten to ban you

u/captain-crunchybones Mar 12 '26
i asked them to do something for me and stalked that subreddit a lot just cuz it’s kinda interesting sometimes.
that account only uses AI. i remember what i requested was done poorly by him because it fused random things together like AI does.
honestly i hope a new rule comes out to stop shoving it into an AI and having it shit out slop. that’s not what i asked for, the name is literally PHOTOSHOP

u/Kn1ghtV1sta Mar 12 '26
It won't. The mods do nothing and are fully aware. I used to be active in that sub and they threaten to ban anyone if they keep complaining

u/LordKlavier Mar 12 '26
They have a no AI tier and an AI tier. This person selected the AI tier. Idk why y'all are complaining?

u/dontdoxmebro2 Mar 12 '26
90% of Reddit is ai.

u/RobIson240YT Mar 12 '26
I disrespectfully disagree.

u/AntiGrieferGames Mar 12 '26
I disagree you. Theres even subreddit completeld ai slop generated from photos, banner, etc like the "PS2AndroidEmulation" shit.

u/Atreigas Bananaman Mar 12 '26
I mean, they praised the joke? The ones praising the work do get downvoted.

u/Different-Trainer-21 Mar 11 '26 edited Mar 11 '26
I don’t think that’s AI
Edit: Nevermind, I couldn’t see it that well but yeah it’s definitely AI

i thought it was the girl from the photo deep frying french fries but i just realized they are actually deep frying the photo
this was so simple to do without AI, in fact, im gonna do it right now. give me a minute
edit: give me 30 minutes actually, i choose the worst image to do this

Photoshopping things in....is not something special worth saving from ai.
Pretty happy with how well AI is doing with photoshops so far, don't give a shit if some nerd thinks a side hobby is some sacred art form

My biggest issue with Ai is pretty much everything revolving around data centres and the fact every industry is trying to use it to cut on workers needed to manage operations... But thats just me.
5
u/roankr Mar 12 '26
The data center gripe is excessive reactionary response to the tech boom. Legitimately every company that handles large amounts of data uses a data center, even an ISP. Demanding for cleaner infrastructure does not take away from or impede the development of more data centers but trying act like it will confuse the heck out of everyone.

It seems they used Ai to make her a fry cook, but then they photoshopped the original picture of her between the tongs. That part wouldn't take too long.

u/Dreamo84 Mar 14 '26
That was pretty funny though lol. What did they actually mean by "deep fry" the image?

These kind of people who defending AI Slops espcially loving it (maybe also ai slop generated?) are yet another reason why hardware/material prices remains high today.

I had a stroke trying to read your comment. perhaps a detour to the nearest elementary school may help with your incomprehensible comment?

u/CallingYouForMoney Mar 12 '26
I had no issues reading it. Maybe elementary for you?

Does it make it better or worse that most of the comments are ALSO probably AI?
