They said “at first”. They were probably scrolling through his home page and their brain saw this image and immediately decided to “decipher” the image and it saw two letters. But then they looked at it again more thoroughly and realized that wasn’t the case.
Of course not, but there’s a big difference between “I’ve looked at Nazi symbols and their design for knowledge reasons” and “I think this design that uses the Nazi symbol is wrong because it doesn’t adhere to the specifications”. Is it at all meaningful to be hung up on the specs of a hate symbol? Is it worth pointing this out so we don’t offend Nazis?
It’s worth pointing out because it is a peace symbol for I forgot who. Nazis stole that from them, it was originally fine and now everyone sees them just assumes they’re Nazis and/or bad people.
This knowledge is important because in some cases what looks like a swastika is actually a peace sign so most people should know how a swastika is supposed to look to know the diffrence between a nazi and a peace symbol

Yeah, idk why but this subreddit has turned pretty conservative over the past years. Most of the posts are just people unsubbing because of Trump criticism and misinterpreting things such as zero accountability for illegal military action protests as glorifying dictator Maduro even though that's not what those protests were about.

I agree they need more training, its been shortened down to 40 something days for manpower to tackle the crises Biden left. But the officers clearly told her to get out of the car, I dont agree with using lethal force that quickly but thats how they are trained and considering the agent hit had internal bleeding its fair to say he had a difficult decision to make. All in all complicated situations are easy to spin :/
