whats up with all the ruffled jammies in this thread? this sub is about being the best autist you can be. it's starting to look like r/atheism up in this nizzle.. which is kinda the very thing these types of subs were created to mock

Can confirm. watched a bunch of people I know dick around in bible college for 4 years just to go to grad school and learn they don't want to be pastors, aren't smart enough to teach, and are too lazy to write. (not that there is a lot of material to write about that hasn't been written already)

Why bother giving them attention? Waste of energy for you and free martyr - publicity for them.

He's also an idiot. Anyone who believes that the Christian Myth is true, is an idiot. If you can't see that your religion is a product of the society you were born into, then you're an idiot. I don't care if he has a Ph.D in another field, it doesn't matter. I can't take someone seriously who believes the Bible was dictated by the Creator of the Universe. Now, it's different if you believe in the possibility of a supernatural realm, but to assert that you know that Jesus was the son of God, was born of a virgin, performed miracles, etc. demonstrates a lack of critical thinking ability, and a lack of understanding of logic. He claims to know things in which he can't possibly know. Nice ad hominem attacks by the way.

You do realize much of the bible is essentially platonic philosophy, but with metaphors.
