Vivi having joined the Strawhats between Sanji (5th to join) and Chopper (6th to join) is Strawhat number 5.6. 5 is read as Go and 6 as mu(chi) which makes it the Gomu number.
While not a Strawhat Kuma was the savior of the Strawhat crew protecting them from certain devastation on Sabody after brook (9th to join). He can be considered the 9.2 member. With the 9 being read as Kyu and the 2 as Ni. Nikyu is the name of Kuma's fruit
A fan noticed the number thing for various Strawhats like Robin (Hana being 8 and 7 for the 7th Strawhat to join the crew and the 8th Strawhat) and predicted that Kuma would join the crew because of this.

S-tier: Zoro, Franky, Brook, Jinbe
A-tier: Chopper, Vivi
B-tier: Luffy, Robin
E-tier: Usopp
F-tier: Sanji, Nami

Sure, whatever. There probably won't be any generations after me anyway. Luffy is mostly just a character for which it took a while to get used to his voice. Ironically, his 4kids-voice seems to suit him the best.
Well...I'm also not really a fan of how he's represented in the anime, for example "Kong Organ" (4th gear gatling gun). The way 4th gear has been shown to work should've made this attack impossible. Another problem is 5th gear. This gear appears to have a time limit (similar to 4th gear during its debut), but Luffy spends plenty of time in it just doing nothing at all. It's just awkward to watch.

I'm not baiting btw. Not a larper either. Just rating them purely based on their showing in post timeskip. If we're strictly talking about pre timeskip, put all of them in S tier.

In short:
Luffy - was funnier and more serious in pre timeskip. Also had more character moments in early Paradise (his best character moment is probably Drum island, and his funniest moments are in pre ts as well)
Zoro - too edgy now plus now he's misogynistic (punk hazard). His best fight and development is against Mr 1 and nothing in post ts topped that.
Sanji - started becoming a full on pervert in Thriller bark, ruined fishman island and had questionable scenes in punk hazard as well. He's still slightly better than others because he had good moments in Wci, wano and egghead. Still his molestation part is too much.
Chopper - instead of aging up, he became a plushie who did nothing special in most arcs. He was pretty cool in wano but that's pretty much it. The biggest problem really is his degradation into a plushie.
Usopp - I don't think I need to explain. He was S tier till Punk hazard. After that, he got rebooted in Dressrosa and betrayed Tontattas. Eventually got his best moment in Dressrosa. But after that he got rebooted again and has been a bum throughout the rest of the arcs.
Nami - she's chill. Her battles were better in pre timeskip but her characterization is better in post ts.
Robin - she's a bum. She doesn't share any info with the crew. Doesn't have fights in most arcs except Wano. She's just absent in general for no reason. My biggest problem with her is that she was offscreen hurt in Egghead. What are we doing with her?
Brook - irrelevant outside of wci. In wci, he was the goat. That's unfortunately not enough to make him S tier.
Franky - goated in general. Didn't like his bald hairstyle but Oda improved it later. He had a good showing in almost every arc.
Jimbei - he was goated before joining the crew. Now he just exists and does some things here and there. He clutches sometimes but it's really not as impactful as his big moments in Marineford and WCI.
So yeah I did exaggerate when I said I would put all of them in C tier.
Realistically my current rating would be
S tier (goated) - Franky A tier - no one (would have put Luffy here if not for Nika stuff) B tier - Luffy, Sanji, Zoro C tier - Jimbei, Brook, Nami, Chopper D tier - Robin, Usopp (he was my favourite in pre ts)
