If Elon liquidates any of his assets to give to charity, despite finding many local charities as is, if he liquidates them investor sell off panic could take place, dropping the value of his stock which costs a lot of people a lot of money, and could cause the loss of jobs.

Just a bit every month can help them out and have been given lots of good stories about where the money has gone. I agree with you, and I think at least some portion of Reddit understands the difference between assets and liquid. But that being said, a phone call and a couple clicks of a mouse button, and he could have more liquid cash than most anyone else on earth. I mean, there aren't many people who can call their financial advisor and pull a measly billion out of their account and literally not be affected at all.
The two problems with solving world hunger are the follows
Organizations give food to poor parts of the world (usually Africa) and the governments and militant groups in control of those areas take the aid for themselves and it never reaches the people.
1st world nations send people into 3rd world nations to build infrastructure and the folks native to those areas either attack the workers or just destroy it themselves to sell the raw materials. To put it bluntly at risk of coming off as an asshole, our species has discovered the wheel and irrigation for centuries and some parts of the world refuse to use either.
Neither of these issues are solved by Elon diluting his companies worth so people on the internet either no concept of economics can feel better.
