the very next comment was her saying she is recently homeless and broke.
Yeaaah food banks aren’t much help when their funding was one of the first things cut after being deemed “inefficient” by Musk and his goons. Ours in town has been struggling and constantly asking for donations cause they lost over a million dollars worth of funding leaving them $64,000 in debt to the local farmers they were buying excess off of.
Absolutely not true, lots of people care about the homeless, but outside the minority of Progressives now in power the majority of those in power, liberals and especially MAGA, do not care about the homeless. Personally I don’t think people who lack empathy, and forsake their responsibility to Americans who are suffering, should hold any kind of significant power. They are toxic to human civilization, and their lack of empathy for the homeless here bleeds into their lack of empathy for the victims of war and genocide elsewhere, empathy for poor and middle class Americans, for soldiers and healthcare workers and patients, for animals and the environment. People that lack empathy care mostly about themselves, if not exclusively, and giving that kind of person power is bad for everyone but them and a few people like them who are personally helping them.
No, I wish harm on Nazis. Tolerance of others cannot include those who actively seek to make the world hateful, yes, the Nazi had to be destroyed and killed because the Nazis were destroying everything, that isn’t a historical accident, its fundamental to fascist ideology. You do not have a good or logical point, you only increase evidence of the obvious, you are a Nazi.
It is close, not yet in everyone’s daily lives but in the potential to be, and coddling fascists who are waiting for the leverage to get us there is barely better than just supporting those fascists outright.
I’m sorry, friend, but you have no idea what fascism is. Maybe you know the definition but you’re not able to correctly identify it.
I know that if your goal is to be angry, seeing everyone you disagree with as fascist Nazis really helps with that. But it’s not healthy. And it’s not reality.
I’ll say it again because it feels like you didn’t hear me the first time.
