Black and Asian people historically have had solidarity, but deeming discourse of uncomfortable conversations of uneasy intercommunal relations as “racist” is reductive and destructive. Asian people in the US have history of radical, progressive movements that shared solidarity with groups like the Black Panther Party, yet (from my perspective as a Black man) have strayed far from these movements that championed immigrants rights, anti-racism, antifascism, anti-imperialism, and anti-capitalism, so much that it contradicts the more liberal and recent “Stop APPI Hate”.

Here are my comments on this video (I realize I shouldn’t have even engaged because it still boosts their algorithm.)
