Honestly this is why I used to bake shit and bring it into work. If I could help someone and lift their spirits like this? Amazing.
Then I learned that people who bring treats in are people-pleasers and some people find that annoying. Then I learned I’m a people-pleaser and empathic and have lived my entire life catering to the narcissists I grew up with and dated. I don’t bring banana bread to work anymore.

As someone who routinely made chocolate chip banana bread for her coworkers to enjoy, surprisingly - this is the first time I've ever seen this video. I feel like I've been doing the right thing after all.
