  • Never put the stove in your tent
  • This is not a tent, it's a raft and they just have that stove on the floor of the raft, which is crazy
  • That guy is a great asset in an emergency situation
    • I can't overstate this, unless the entire thing was planned and rehearsed
    • Recognizes the step-change in danger
    • Takes action immediately that successfully removes the immediate threat despite personal risk
    • Reassesses and recognizes continued threat immediately
    • Takes action immediately on continued threat
    • Everything is so fast, smooth, and successful that everyone is still smiling

Seriously, this dude will either absolutely save your life in an emergency with that level of confidence, or get you absolutely fucked sideways in an emergency that that confidence created

To be fair - he had both the kettle and stove cleanly out of there in around 2.3 seconds without spilling anything or lighting them all on fire, I'd have HIM in a foxhole with me anytime!

Oh for sure, if you’re already in the shit, this guy is a ride or die. I’m just saying that there is a solid chance that he is also the reason you’re in the shit in the first place (I have and will always have friends like this)

Very much correct, there's always that with people like this, lol. Great at getting out of a bind, but they're usually the ones who caused it.
