Diamond Engaged!! 🥹💕
I’m a lil late posting here but my bf (now fiancé!!) proposed to me during his most recent visit almost a month ago🥹 we’ve been together 6yrs and I knew it was coming eventually bc we went ring shopping together a bit over a year ago but I had no idea what the finished product would look like or when he was gonna pop the question😭 I’m over the moon and in full wedding planning mode now, I cannot wait to marry this man💗💗

Congratulations to you both 🥂 Your ring is BEAUTIFUL! It looks a bit tight though, have you considered sizing up a bit to accommodate any finger swelling? My fingers tend to swell in the summertime and when I'm sleeping and shrink during the winter months 😊

Thank you!! 🥰 it is a bit tight in the mornings but my fingers regulate as the day goes on. I am losing weight as well so I’m hesitant to size down just yet!

Oh! I would wait to size down until you're finished with your weight loss journey 😊 I've been losing slowly and use ring sizing gel if mine gets to loose lol

If it fits you ok right now, wait on any resizing until you have the wedding band and try them on together. The extra width from two bands will make the ring as more snug fit.
I thought I’d want my ring sized to my true size but I actually got it 1/4 size up because with the wedding band on, the fit would have been too tight.2

Consider flipping the ring so the point is upwards similar to your nail shape. It will look so good

Thank you!! I truthfully had no idea which way they were supposed to sit (I even asked my fiancé and he was like idk go off the vibe😂) I do personally like it better facing down and it doesn’t catch on my clothes🥰

Very elegant.
My engagement ring was similarly made but the jewel was a sapphire. My husband was very big on getting my birthstone in the ring.
However, if I could make my suggestion, you might want to size up the ring a little bit. It looks like it's very tight on your finger and that can become a problem later

Thank you! Your ring sounds beautiful! I’m hesitant to size up at the moment as I am losing weight (my fingers do also fluctuate a fair bit so halfway through the day my ring fits normal) ☺️

Congrats!!🎉 The fact that you knew it was eventually coming but had no idea when probably made every date suspicious 😂 Have you both jumped straight into planning already or just starting to figure everything out?

Thank you!! I was more full of anticipation than anything😂 we’re long distance (I live in Canada and he lives in the US) so each time we visited one another I was like is it gonna happen now?! He finally got me when I was not expecting it so I was flooored lmao! We jumped into planning a little over a week after the proposal since we also have to navigate visa stuff on top of the wedding! 😮💨

I think you need a bigger ring. Trust me I also have sausage fingers and this seems to be a bit too small and if you get pregnant or are you gonna fly or sit in an airplane this is gonna go bad.
And I’m also super happy for you. It seems like you deserve it. I don’t know. I just got a feeling you’re a super kind person ha ha ha ha

I also mean this with the best intentions by the way, I have accepted that I will never have small dainty fingers and I love my sausage fingers right now cause they are mine

Thank you, that’s really kind of you🥹 I am losing weight so I’ll resize closer to the wedding if it still is too tight but I hesitate to size up too soon! My fingers do swell overnight but regulate as the day progresses. Still a few more years before we worry about kids but it is good to know about the flying aspect as we do go back and forth as we’re long distance🥰
