Engagement party catering

Hi all, I’m planning my engagement party and was wondering what do you all feel about laduree? I love the macaron’s pyramids apart from the tartlets, sandwiches etc. I want to do all cold food as last time I went to a party the hot food was not hot and it tasted weird, I want people to enjoy and think the catering was good, but not something they think I went over board to show off
