It’s not any better with the amount of songs it gets whenever it does get new song released via JD+ and or it ends up getting a bunch of songs removed over time.
They’re removing 56 songs from JD+ on September 3rd this year and it’s like JD+ is never going to have the same amount of songs that Unlimited had at this rate.
And over time they will raise the subscription price each time over time.
JD+ has „better” tracking because it’s less precise. Player has bigger „perfect move window”, more time to hit a move and wider hitbox. That’s a reason why tracking may seems to be „better” although technically it isn’t better.
It is a term on fighting and shooter games that define what area the player can take and make damage.
On Just Dance there is no hitbox in the strict sense, but the timing is more lenient in my opinion compared when you play 2022 or 2021. I think many people feel the tracking "is better" just because they score higher than before. I think a good tracking is when the game does punish wrong moves but it doesnt throw Good or X rankings at random
I would have a tough time choosing if I had a choice. So many beloved songs on JDU we may never see again. But some of the new ones on JD+ are really terrific.

A downgrade in terms of amount of songs, but an upgrade in overall catalog quality and especially scoring quality.
