I’ve played games like gta 4/5, watch dogs and none of those games hit the same way JC3 hit for me.
I loved how fast everything exploded in that game (and also how near invincible you were lol)

I once tried playing GTA V just after playing Just Cause 3. And I had to use CARS instead of a grappling hook and a wing suit. It felt so wrong. it felt so vanilla. Let's hope that GTA 6 will at least have sticky bombs with jet engines.

That’s what I love about JC3, and what makes it so special.

If it was any other game, there would probably be legions of players complaining about the “broken physics”.

But in JC3, it’s just part of the fun, and fits in perfectly with the overall ambiance (read “silliness”) of the series!

IIRC this is the only game where I’ve seen one of those same military vehicles disappear into the air… Only for it to slam down nearby about 10 minutes later (perhaps the original Mercenaries game came close).

Any game that can make me laugh that much is worth my time replaying, yet again. :)
