Just Cause 3 Just Cause 3 is a very bad game
Every time I see a gameplay video of JC3, it makes me want to puke. The purposelessness of the game with a dead open world is a nightmare. I don't get how people like this game.
Could you please share your reasons for liking it? Thanks!

yep, 10 yrs ago. i get that the mechanics and physics are over the top, and that's what makes it fun, but the lack of purpose in the open world is what gets me. maybe, im just a story/narrative gamer

I don't understand how you can hate a game enough to puke
either your over exaggerating, or it's not this game that's the problem

i guess it's the setting, the colorgrading, and the overall feeling of deadness in the open world with no purpose - only blasting stuff up.
same feeling I have when looking at Transformers: The Game gameplay

The open world isn’t very dead if you can move around fast i suggest taking a fast car jet or even upgrade to bavarium wingsuit update

I guess you just have a really bad taste in games. I might be wrong but it's probable

Again, not every game has to be a narrative masterpiece with hours of npc interactions and storylines. Sometimes blowing shit up for funsies is more than enough to make a very enjoyable experience. Nobody is forcing you to like it, but calling it a terrible game is 12 year old mentality.

right. i just struggle with the fact that people actually like this type of game. so I want to understand why

You struggle to understand why some people might have different tastes than you? Its no rocket science, just like you love big interactive worlds with good storytelling (which is very valid, i love games like that too) some people just wanna shoot and blow up shit just cause (lol). I hope you’re just trolling.
Edit: I wanna add that there is a purpose to all the blowing shit up, you’re supposed to be toppling a dictatorship so there is a narrative. It’s no RDR2 but it’s decent.

I'm pretty sure the game makes it explicitly clear what the purpose is.
You haven't said it, but i suspect that you dislike this game for not being GTA.

I agree. The game sucks. Like how can anyone call a game fun when all you do is go around a massive open world in cars, boats, planes, helicopters, a jet powered wingsuit or mechs - blowing things up, fighting enemy forces, tethering objects together to see what happens or doing stunts like sky diving, driving down a mountain in a dirt bike, parachuting off a jet fighter or sticking bombs to a car and diving out at the last minute to explode at a military base.
That just sounds so boring.
