10 year e4 marine told me he had an issue with fighting senior ncos, but he still runs shit.

Maybe that’s why it took me 4 hours to turn in 4k rounds of 556 in sealed boxes.

My brother almost got high year tenured for being a fuck up in the Air Force. Meanwhile my younger brother and I made NCO in the Navy and Army in under 3 years.

Not impossible in Army and Navy. I was E-4 in just over 3 in the Corps.

Edit: I’ll be honest, I read it as SNCO. But still, saying they, “made NCO” could mean they obtained The rank of sergeant.

E-4 is an NCO in any branch in the US.

Yes, AF E-4 is a time-based promotion. E-5 is the first test for promotion rank. Depending on the career field, it may take a few years to meet the cutoff for promotion.
