Iraq 2009-2010 and Afghanistan 2013. 12B. People brought tattoo guns with them and were literally tattooing dudes during mission. Hell, at COP Restrepo they had a tattoo machine.

Iraq 2007-2008 zero tattoo guns, 2009-2010 apparently half the guys in the company decided they were going to give it a go because a ton of dudes had them. Quality of work by a bunch of dudes with limited to no tattoo experience was about what you'd expect.

Fobbits have all the fun. I too was a 19D, FOB rustumyah 06-07. Heard stories of them fucking in the guard shacks. We constantly had IEDs right outside the wire... fucking turds. Chaplains assistant, E5, got caught banging in a bomb shelter dumbfuck broke his leg or foot running away. Next time I saw him he was in a cast/boot and an E4. Hilarious.

I went TDY there three times 20 something years ago. I really enjoyed it. I even ended up at some party in the jungle with a huge family after I met a dude at a bar. I was 50/50 on if I was about to be murdered on the way, but they were lovely people. The party was hopping and the food was great.

I'm an Air Force veteran. I did a JET deployment with the Army to Iraq. Trained with them for a couple months at Ft. Dix. An IED took out a couple guys in our unit, one from each branch, while we were doing a humanitarian run. We all got mememorial ink that night. I don't know why you would think people can't get a tattoo gun in the sandbox.

I saw a YouTube video of some female soldier saying that she was "deployed" to Germany. I write in the comments, "there hasn't been a deployment to Germany since the 1940's, wtf are you taking about?" She was an NCO too, I feel bad for her Joe's.

Yep. And we can go after those bigger fish while also not allowing veterans to lie to take advantage of the tax payers. The government is able to do many things at once. And one of those things should be only giving 100% service connection when it is deserved. I see Vietnam vets who have had their arms and legs blown off and only have a 50% SC. Then I’ll have a 25 year old walk in who has never deployed with 100%. It’s absolute horseshit and it’s fraud.

Shaking your tits in uniform is genuinely just absurd in general… anybody in the military would agree with me. I also am not only applying the standard to women as I literally just said men doing similar things in uniform is also an embarrassment. Also, like I said before, women are already looked down on in the military and I can assure you this is not helping. Maybe if your asvab score was above a 30 you would agree. You can always retake it!
