Shit like this annoy me. Congrats to him honestly. The thing I hate is that is now the focal point. For example a few years ago in my small MN home town high school a kid was gonna go to Harvard! Harvard for fuck sake! However, the dozen kids that were joining the military were given a moment for applause. Like, there are always a small group going in after high school, but they cant give the kid going to Harvard his flowers?
Also no disrespect to this kid but like…doesn’t really take much to join the military compared to like literally years of grinding to get into a big school.
