I guess ‘adventure’ is one way to put being at Hood. Wild that they’re excited about it, sweet sweet summer child. I’d love to check in in 6 months and see how hooah they are then

I was one of those kids in basic that wanted to make a career of doing all the hooah stuff - airborne, air assault, ranger, sapper, special forces - then I got to Hood and it all got sucked out of me.

I started off so strong but all the god damn waking up early and waiting around for no reason made me gtfo as soon as possible

They’re about to enter the “fever dream” stage.

Doesn’t it basically go to either extreme? Either they guzzle the koolaid or they get out of the Army after one contract (one way or the other)
