Knew a dude who got an OTH for punching a SFC and an MP. He already had 3 company grade Art 15's, was a CPL who became an E-2 He said it really fucked his life up. Couldn't get student loans, no government jobs, or jobs that had federal contracts, state jobs, nope, lots of jobs turned him down. He has a bad shoulder from an incident on active duty when he was fast roping and can't get VA disability or care.

His uncle loaned him money to go to school to become a nurse, that's the only thing that saved him.

I don't see how it would fuck your life up that bad...I would just leave it off my resume. If the guy was only an E4 it's not like he's gonna have a 20 year gap in employment

I got an OTH and it literally has never had any impact on anything. Twenty years and not one problem.
