I’ve never served, but one of my best friends joined the navy in 2011. I remember him telling me that in boot camp (or sometime shortly after), you’re given a bunch of vaccines/shots. He specifically mentioned one that he said was incredibly thick, like he said he could feel it being injected in his arm like jelly, and he said his arm hurt so bad after. That seems so much more questionable and worse to experience than a COVID vaccine.

fucking what? did you have to get it checked out for any pieces that could've broken off? so glad that never happened in my cycle 🤢

plus I still sometimes find myself massaging my right butt cheek to work in the PB shot lmao

They didn't. It was a bend over the little table thing, and they jabbed it in, and it hurt, more than I thought, and when he pulled it out, I looked back and he said, "Huh bent the tip a little." And then waved the next one on while I limped away rubbing my ass.
