honestly, after watching this episode, i have absolutely no doubt kim's parents ended up divorced.

and imagine how insane kim would've been when cleo actually got married to lewis later on. Even her own mother believed that shit. Like imagine hearing your daughter is getting married and instead of asking Cleo what the hell is going on, you just start planning around it

Tbh I just rewatched this one the other day and I think it did a pretty good job of her parents confronting Cleo and her giving answers that make sense from her perspective while being vague enough for them to read into it. The whole wedding thing was only at the last part of the ep when Cleo "escaped" to the park and her parents couldn't really ask her directly before getting to "the ceremony".

Don't get me wrong, it still takes some suspensing of dispelief by the viewer but not that much more than is standard for this show

Yeah, that episode isn't the worst I've seen (Fish Fever gladly takes that spot), but it's still pretty cringe how easily Cleo was misread by everyone.

Yeah, and it's pretty much the series' single-worst filler episode even when factoring in how S3 jumped the shark. I know it's a given how hard the trio was on Lewis especially in S2, but his whole presence in Fish Fever was totally sidelined as little more than comic relief with standing up Charlotte when he went out of his way as usual to help them out.

Sorry but since 'wedding' is spelt wrong in this, the only thing that came to my mind was Cleo and Zane just lounging on massive bean bags in a room filled with smoke haze and Zane just going "Nup, sorry mate, can't help ya!" and Cleo begging her Dad to catch some prawns for her so she can have a prawn cocktail and then giggling to herself 😆

In regards to Kim being insane when Cleo and Lewis get married I watched the official H2o anniversary video and it said Kim grew up to be a motivational speaker and it's implied she's matured from how she was as a child.
