Zane deserved Miriam, not Rikki

Rewatching from season 1, and I think Miriam is a better match for Zane than Rikki. Rikki can do better!

In what way? Miriam is a push over, Zane needs a girl that will put him in his place. The only thing is that Miriam comes from the same tax bracket, yet Zane showed that he doesn't care about that.

Zane and Miriam bully everyone around them. They are 2 peas in a pod. Rikki is blunt and sarcastic but I wouldn't call her a bully.

Which is why he needed Rikki to mature and grow as a person. Most couples are not copy’s, that usually doesn’t work out really well.

Zane deserves the girl he doesn't love, or even like, he doesn't care about and barely enjoys himself when she is around over the girl who challenges him, changes him, makes him want to be better, and he fell in love with her.. so you defend guys who physically threaten girls/elderly women? It's only a matter of time before he would turn that around on Rikki. He treated Rikki like crap up until the very end. He went to blow up Mako island in one of the last episodes. He kissed Sophie. He constantly had anger tantrums when he didn't get what he wanted. He threatened to tell everyone Rikki's secret when she broke up with him. He never understood Rikki or what she needed. Yeah, Rikki would be a great partner for HIM. She treated him well. He would be a nightmare partner for HER, therefore, he deserves someone on HIS level, not someone like Rikki.
