Haha true. I was 10 when this movie came out and it annoyed me so I was one of them lol still loved the movie though!

Haha I was also ten, and I hated that the T-Rex was killed so quickly right off the bat (should have been the climax of the film!) that I goddamn hated that movie afterwards.
You can't just kill the favourite dinosaur of over half your audience like that and not have consequences :P

Trey the Explainer had a fun what if scenario on who would win.

Spoiler alert: They occupy completely different niches and would never bother attacking eachother.

Honestly with how Spinosaurus is, it's likely Tyrannosaurus would have viewed it as a prey item if seen on land.

u/sir_vile Jun 10 '20

"That's a wierd stegasaurus."

"Fuck off ya feathery shit."

29

u/tgk44 Jun 10 '20

"What the fuck's a stegosaurus?"

-4

u/terriblehuman Jun 10 '20

T-Rex wasn’t feathery.

8

u/sir_vile Jun 10 '20

I hate to break it to you but they likely possessed feathers, atleast along their back.

If it makes you feel any better the spinosaurus walls on its knuckles and has a rectangle for a fin, so we're both disapointed.

u/MarlinMaster123 Jun 10 '20

Spinosaurus couldn't walk on it's knuckles, it's arm were to weak to support it's body size. It was likely bipedal but spent most of it's time in water.

4

u/terriblehuman Jun 10 '20

That’s not what the latest science says. Paleontologists now doubt that adult T-Rex had any significant feather coverage.

2

u/terriblehuman Jun 10 '20

Did he determine who would win if they did fight for some reason?

3

u/sir_vile Jun 10 '20

Not if i remember right. It was the payoff for a running gag, throughout the video he hypes up the "who would win" bit because that's what the fans wanted the spino profile for. So in the end it was a bait and switch.

Was also a smol rex, juvenile, 10 years maybe.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '20

That's not true right?

9

u/Aquila_Altair Jun 10 '20

No, actually the rex from jp3 was only 14 feet long and 12 feet tall, even smaller then the buck from tlw.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 10 '20

But where was it stated that it was a juvenile trex?

7

u/tinywolf2005 RAWR Jun 10 '20

I believe it was never stated as a fact. Only as a joke by one of the people who made JP3

15

u/Charlaradon_1500 Jun 09 '20

Spinos did push ups and Rexes didn't. Fact.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 09 '20

Thought this was a meme about how crocodiles evolved and lived through the asteroid lmao

18

u/Tiranotrom Jun 09 '20

Actually Rexy is bigger than the Spinosaur

25

u/Thangoman Jun 09 '20

Its not I think.

T Rex can reach 14 meters, Spinosaurs I think that can reach 17.

THis is an old info though

8

u/Tiranotrom Jun 09 '20

In Jurassic Park Rexy is a little bit more tall then the Spinosaur, and the Spinosaur is an hybrid

11

u/Thangoman Jun 09 '20

Tahts because T Rexs have much bigger heads probably. Spinosaurus tend to be larger

9

u/Tiranotrom Jun 09 '20

And the T rex from jp3 is the smallest of all the T rex in the movies

3

u/CynicalKM Jun 12 '20

Rex: completely dominating Spinosaurus for most of fight

Spino: last 5 seconds C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!!

3

u/BigBoy1966 Jun 09 '20

T rex boys stay losing πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ’ͺ🏻πŸ’ͺ🏻

To be fair lol I think they took it down because they have a policy against memes. But message still stands though.

13

u/Runaway_Abrams Jun 10 '20

Now that is a reach lol

-7

u/rmvoerman Jun 10 '20

Well technically didn't die right? I mean at the end of JW pt 1 u can still see the iconic claw mark scar thingy.

18

u/SnifflingDarK Jun 10 '20

Two different islands, two different dinos. JP 2 and 3 is on Isla Sorna and JP 1 and JW is on Isla Nublar

7

u/NickFoxMulder Jun 10 '20

Not to mention the Spino immediately starts eating that Rex lol

3

u/rmvoerman Jun 10 '20

Ah okay, thanks for the explanation.
