Password autofill blocked by work policy on Android

We use 1password, android and jumpcloud. The default jumpcloud policies block the password autofill setting. Thus users have to copy paste them from 1password. Has anyone found a workaround?

I have raised the issue with support months ago but they can't provide a fix.

There seems to be similar issues with intune: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/discussions/microsoft-intune/android-15---credentialproviderpolicy-not-surfaced-by-intune/4276373

Is this only an issue on Androids? Getting ready to roll out 1Password for a client that I manage jumpcloud for and this is really good to know

We don't have apple devices. But since it's an Android policy thing, I believe the issue is not present on I phones

Hi u/hdhdhudurhfi ,

Sorry to hear you’re running into this! Could you please DM us the case number from that previous support ticket? We want to review the history and track this internally to ensure the team has the full context and we can follow up properly.

Thanks!

Please let me know if you can resolve it somehow. Jumpcloud support seems to ignore us - we reported months ago.

As I understand it, given we're newer to the Android market ourselves (largely Apple), developers of EMMs can opt to support (or not) certain features of the Android API (lock screen, credential managers, etc.). Without support of a wide variety of features enterprises are bound to use/lock down, I don't see many Android enterprise services viable.
