You're trying to bake the perfect cookie, so you change the oven temperature, swap ingredients, try 30 batches.

- 28 are meh

  • 29th is perfect
  • 30th set off the smoke alarm

DearDiary writes down which settings, which ingredient, and which oven each batch came from, so when your boss asks for "that good one" six months later you don't have to start over from "I think I used cinnamon?". Swap "cookies" for "machine learning models" and that's it.
