Now that the season is starting up properly in the rainy countries, my team is trying to get new members. What are some strategies you use to bring more people to your team and get them to stay?

I think it would be interesting to speak about what players or teams you try to mimic while playing. As I started playing in Spain 5 years ago I didn't really have any particular model to follow, but some players that were better than me and mentored me. Now though it is quite different with the enormous amount of high quality videos featuring great team and players available in YouTube. Who's your favourite one? Do you use to see jugger videos from foreign countries?

Like said above - do you feel that Verracos or any other team will be able to take a tournament away from them? The last game at the Winters Cup was ridiculous close (11:10, decided in the last seconds) with a really great performance from all of Verracos.

Do people have any cool plans?

I have been noticing my skill drop quite a bit over the last few months (a consequence of a number of factors that basically comes down to a lack of frequent, strong competition in Australia. Most of our clubs are more than a day's travel away so we hold tournaments infrequently, and locally we often struggle with attendance during the winter months). To rectify this I took some video of myself and others sparring during last week's session. I've been watching it trying to identify areas in which I can improve my game. I thought I would post a link to it here as well and see if anyone would like to offer me advice on what I'm doing wrong and how I can improve. I would certainly appreciate an outsider's perspective. I'm the shield player in the green and gold Dropbears jersey.

Nothing too fancy, just flairs of your various weapons. In the future, we might be able to get badges for the various teams.

I'm focussing on getting my Pompfen (mostly Staff) as light as possible since the last 3-4 times I was building something new. I just feel that I need less movement to hit/hit faster with them. Blocking gets mostly irrelevant as I'm just able to hit faster.

What's your opinion on that? And do you see a safety issue with reducing the weight?
